WELCOME TO NCAA!

WELCOME TO NCAA!

In the first 7 games of the NCAA, Leonard Fournette ran unabated in both gratings and the race toward the Heisman.

Fournette (games in that time) did not register any party with less than 150 yards, in fact, on 3 occasions exceeded the 200 and also scored 15 touchdowns.
And as it was assumed that each party would run a number of yards, it is expected that had everything we needed to make the distinction, until the said calendar week 8.
In the eighth week, Fournette visited LSU and Alabama . Facing a powerful attack, balanced and well calibrated was led by Derrick Henry, who came to the game with 14 touchdowns, only one less than Fournette.
He had much to do the defensive 'Crimson Tide' so that at that party, a real train wreck, Fournette had his worst game of the season: 31 yards on 19 carries and one touchdown.

That however, if the night was Henry who suffered in the first half to score yards, but managed to finish with 210, 3 touchdowns and feeling more ground to Fournette.
From that game, Fournette stagnated while Henry held his overwhelming pace and even took a sprint finish to touch the 300 yards against Auburn (271) in the penultimate game of the season.

KANSAS CITY STARTED THE YEAR WINNING HIS FIRST MATCH

After 22 years without a playoff victory, the Kansas City Chiefs were determined not to give up the lead this time.
The Chiefs had enough points to win after jumping ahead 7-0 in the first 11 seconds, and they used relentless pressure, five turnovers and a ball-control offense to dominate the Houston Texans 30-0 in the wild-card round of the NFL playoffs on Saturday.

They finished off the Texans early, and they had the hometown fans booing by the second quarter. Texans quarterback Brian Hoyer had the worst game of his career with four interceptions and a fumble.

Houston's defense kept the Texans close in the first half, but J.J. Watt left with an injury in the third quarter, Jadeveon Clowney never even put on his jersey and the Chiefs were able to close the game out in the second half.

The Chiefs extended their NFL-best winning streak to 11 games and will face New England on Saturday.
"We wanted to come in and dominate," Chiefs safety Eric Berry said. "Right now we are locked in and ready for next week.

On the opening kickoff, Knile Davis got three good blocks around the 10-yard line and then simply outran the rest of the defenders for the 106-yard kickoff return score, the second-longest kickoff return TD in postseason history.

"It was a huge deal, man. It set the tempo," Davis said. "It quieted everybody, kind of made everybody relax."

The defense took over after that, forcing Hoyer into a fumble and a three of his career-high four interceptions before halftime to help the Chiefs (12-5) take a 13-0 lead.
"I made some bad decisions that really hurt the team," Hoyer said.

Houston coach Bill O'Brien said he never considered benching Hoyer, but backup Brandon Weeden told a different story, saying he was warming up late in the game.

Super Bowl XLIX

SUPER BOWL XLIX

The Super Bowl XLIX was the final game of the 2014 NFL season that played the New England Patriots (AFC champions) and Seattle Seahawks (NFC champions)

The New England Patriots Super Bowl champions were crowned XLIX beating Seattle Seahawks 28-24, who could win in the last minutes.
Tom Brady, Patriots quarterback got his 4th ring and also did Joe Montana and Terry Bradshaw. It was their sixth Super Bowl and had lost the previous two, this time the team jumped at the chance. It has been 13 years long since he won his first Lombardi Trophy and now at his 37 years old, he is still in the elite of the NFL. Also he achieved his third MVP of this game.
Seattle reached the last quarter having a head-start of 10 points, but the Patriots managed to turn the scoreboard with a 14-0 partial thanks to Amendola and Edelman's touchdown. In the final moments, Russell Wilson and his men came to almost the yard of the Patriots camp. But before a few seconds to the end, instead of using the race game Marshawn Lynch, Wilson threw a pass that was intercepted by Malcolm Butler. With this movement the end of the match was sentenced.
